Angela and Jason came to visit us this weekend. We all had a great time. Ang has a bunch of other pictures of the weekend so when she sends them to me I will post them. (not likely that will be any time soon) haha

One of the few pictures I actually like of the two of us.
I'm too sexy for my sunglasses... haha. These were some pictures from the dolphin cruise that we all went on in Florida. We saw one really cool dolphin jump probably 8 feet from the boat and right in front of us. Huge animals!

So this one we were all trying to get the family picture. I think this one is hilarious because we are all doing our own thing. It is funny.

Sorry to all that this hasn't been updated in a long time! I have no good excuse for it.
A lot has happened...Cade turned 1 on January 30th! Crazy! He just started taking some steps last week which was very cool. Overall he is just a healthy, happy little boy. Matt and I are loving being parents.
We want to send a BIG congratulations out to Russ and Amy who are expecting a little blessing of their own! We are so thrilled and happy for you guys!
We are working on getting up to GR to see all of our friends that we miss terribly!
Our home is always open for everyone!

The horse that Cade is sitting on was made by his great grandpa! He made me and my siblings the same rocking horse when we were babies. So it is pretty cool that he did the same for Cade.
He just wanted to show everyone his teeth!
This was over Thanksgiving when we were visiting the Bishops in Virginia. Grandpa took him on his first lawn mower ride!

This was a gift from Josh and Michele. It is so warm and cozy! And he looks adorable in it!

We were fortunate to be able to have Christmas with both of our families, which was great! Here are some pictures from the Bishop Christmas.

This was one of Cade's favorite presents. His "big Pooh." (kinda an inside joke)

Anyway...he and Pooh have regular conversations. This was with the Allen Christmas.

Some Firsts!

Thanks and Giving

For turkey day we traveled to Virginia to meet up with the rest of the family at the parents house. Cade had a couple firsts that I'll share with you:

> Learned to kiss...albeit sloppy and wet....he does it.

> Learned to push the button on his radio toy to play the "exciting" music over and over again.

> Learned that he doesn't like the taste of pickles, mashed potatoes, turkey, and everything else that is not naturally/artificially sweet.

> Learned about Washington DC

> Learned to drive the tractor with Grandpa

He was definitely the life of the party, just as we expected.

The pumpkin visit

Hi everyone....time for some fall pics of the kid. He is all over the place lately....crawling, pulling himself up on anything he can reach.....including Piper and Kitty. Which, by the way, is going to be very confusing for him someday....."yes Cade, that IS Kitty, and yes that is also a kitty...." I'll let you know how that goes....

We went to a pumpkin orchard thingy, which everytime we go to we are utterly disappointed with b/c we have been spoiled by Robinette's in Grand Rapids. This year we went there and actually asked for some apple cider......the response : "we don't have any apples here.....Kroger might have some..." ok. thanks. We'll just look at your pumpkins. At least we got some cute pictures with Papa and Nona.

He now knows the world of pureed food...yum. Actually just rice cereal for now. But it is quite amusing!

THe future star is sporting his new Nike basketball outfit that I bought him.

This week we are going over dribbling...next week I will teach him lay-ups. ;)

These are from a trip that we finally took up to Michigan to visit family and friends. It was so much fun and sooo nice to see everyone. We miss everyone!

Most of these were taken at Russ and Amy's house...they were nice enough to let us invite a bunch of people over so we could see everyone at one time. THanks guys!

It was a lot of fun and some good stories were made that night...(frisbee) Haha
